Gregory M. Miele, CPA/PFS. CFP
Greg Miele is the president and founder of Objective Financial Advisors, Inc. and Objective Advisors Group, Inc. in Bethesda, Maryland. Greg serves individual and corporate clients primarily in the Washington, DC metropolitan area where he specializes in providing investment advisory services and comprehensive financial, tax, and estate planning services to high-net-worth clients. Greg has more than fifteen years experience providing comprehensive and issue-specific advice on a wide variety of financial planning and tax related issues to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and the world.
Prior to founding the Objective Advisors group of companies, Greg served as a Senior Manager in the Washington, DC Personal Financial Planning practices of both KPMG LLP and Ernst & Young, LLP where he provided both issue-based as well as comprehensive personal financial planning services. Greg, as one of the Washington, DC area practice leaders, also headed up the Washington/Baltimore investment advisory practice for KPMG Investment Advisors, Inc. and served as the Mid-Atlantic final reviewer of US Gift (and Generation Skipping Transfer) Tax Returns for Ernst & Young, LLP.
Prior to his large accounting firm tenure, Greg managed his own personal financial planning practice at American Express Financial Advisors, Inc. (formally IDS Financial Services, Inc.). As an American Express Financial Advisor, Greg was consistently rated by his clients among the highest of 8,000 financial advisors nationally for delivering exceptional client service. Before joining American Express, Greg practiced tax accounting for individuals and small businesses and worked as an investment real estate broker where he advised both purchasers and sellers in a wide range of multi-million dollar commercial real estate sales transactions.
Greg, a native Washingtonian, is a graduate of the University of Maryland and the Mercersburg Academy. Greg holds Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Real Estate Broker licenses in Maryland and is certified as a Personal Financial Specialist (CPA/PFS) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), of which he is a member. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative of Objective Investment Advisors, Inc. Greg has passed examinations for and either holds or has held several securities and insurance licenses including NASD Series 7, 63, and 65, Life and Health Insurance and Variable Life and Annuities. Greg is a Distinguished Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Bethesda, MD and Distinguished Past Lieutenant Governor of Division 17 of the Capital District of Kiwanis International. Greg also serves on the Boards of the Bethesda Kiwanis Foundation and Hearts and Homes for Youth, Inc. where he is the current Treasurer. |
